• Welding Functionality: The battery spot welding machine packs consist of welding of thin nickel plate from one battery cell to another with a battery spot welder. The dual pulse feature produces a clean, strong and repetitive weld. The first weld heats the surface and eliminates the contaminant to seat the welding electrode tips. The second pulse produces a second strong weld.
• Salient Features: Homogeneous welding spot, small spark, and no black spots. Continuous/variable spot welding with high reliability and excellent performance.
• Construction : All machine components fitted on a 1475x860x1350 steel table. Ruggedly designed welding head carrying the upper and lower electrode arms and spring control mechanism fitted on the table. Air cooled Transformer, timer and primary contactor housed in an attractively finished sheet metal steel box mounted on the rear side of the table. Connections from transformer output terminates to the welding head by means of a path of heavy duty cables. Specially designed low leakage reactance, air cooled transformer having specially insulated coils
• Adjustment of Electrode Force : Adjustment of Electrode Force via integrated air pressure regulating valve. Upper electrode actuated via a quick follow through device by a heavy duty two-way pneumatic cylinder, controlled by a electrically operated 4-way solenoid valve. Compressed air at 15 to 80 psi (1.06 - 5.62 kgs/cm2) acting on the pneumatic cylinder provides the necessary electrode force.The force adjustment with the electrode is very accurate. The electrode holder is of rugged design for long life and heavy welding cycle operation.
• Current Control: Current Control by Transformer Taps. Welding Transformer primary winding provided with taps to allow adjustment of welding current in 6 steps from 55% to 100%. The current can be reduced for the sensitive parts in welding process.
• Weld Initiation: Weld Initiation by means of Foot Switch connected to low voltage safe initiating circuit. Machine provided with air filter, air lubricator, air pressure regulating valve with gauge throttle valve to prevent the initial impact on electrode closing and all internal air connections
• Electronic Control: Electroweld Digital Controller SWFH-20D with programmable schedules, 4 sequence timers for squeeze, weld, forge and off or repeat operations. We use double pulse for weld quality improvement.

• Weld Pressure: Weld Pressure provided by a sensitive spring carried on the welding head and regulated by a finely threaded large nut from 2 to 80 lbs. Only a fraction of the actual electrode force required on the pedal due to the lever arrangement provided.

• Current Control: Current Control by means of 3 primary and 3 secondary taps on the transformer to provide welding current adjustment in 9 steps. Primary Taps (High / Low / Medium) manipulated by a heavy duty snap action rotary switch
• Weld Initiation: By means of a Switch which initiates the weld only after preset pressure is built
