Electroweld 4-Head Expanded Metal Mesh Projection Welder 100KVA @ 50% Duty Cycle (SPM-100PR4)

Single Weld Head is used at a time for Projection/Spot Welder application

-(Each Weld Head Weldability Sheet Thickness (2 x mm): S.S/M.S Sheet- 1.0mm-6.0mm, 4-19 SWG, 4-19 AWG.

-(Each Weld Head Weldability Cross Wire/Mesh Application-Wire Diameter (2 x mm): 2.0mm-12.0mm,Approx. double the weldability ranges indicated above.

Applications:  The 4-Head Projection/spot welder is used for welding four welds in one cycle for the welding of Expanded Metal Mesh to Square Steel Frames. This ensures quality, repeatabiity and higher production rate. A 4-Head Projection/Spot Welder is the long term cost effective solution for multiple weld applications and avoids the quicker wearing off one pair of electrodes, repeatedly used for multiple welds. Capable of Welding Low Carbon Steel,High Carbon Steel,High Strength Steel,Nickel Alloy,High-Temp Alloy,Titanium. Confirmation of weldability of other materials can be provided on request.

Applications:

• ElectroBrazing-Resistance Welding Technology is employed to heat/anneal the job or braze two parts or joints where lesser heat is required at a longer time period.In case of brazing, a suitable braze-filler metal is used for the requisite joint. The controller is used for controlling parameter like Time, Heat, Pressure and feed settings. These are generally custom-built equipment with specially designed transformers for higher duty cycles.
• Users Include:   General engineering work-shops, makers of furniture, electrical instruments, containers, barrels and drums, telephone, radio communication devices, clocks, kitchenware, textile machinery and spares, automobiles, bicycles, motor-cycles, scooters, auto-ancillaries, toys, air-conditioners, refrigerators, transformers, motor, switch gear, etc.
• Construction : Heavily fabricated with streamlined appearance, suitably stiffened at points of stress. The transformer is mounted directly on to the body.
• Electrodes:Handheld brazing electrode holder with Graphite Electrodes supplied as standard with the machine, Other types available on request. The electrodes are water cooled
• Cooling System: Electrodes, Electrode holders secondary water cooled, water required to be free from residue forming impurities and at a temperature of less than 30* C or 85* F. If water temperature is higher, increased water flow is required.
• Current Control: By means of 3/6 tap change links between 50% and 100% also fine setting through controller
• Brazing Initiation: By means of Foot Switch which initiates the brazing process.

Electroweld Press Type 14-Head Projection/Spot Mesh Welder 250KVA (SPM-250PR14)

14-Heads are used with 4Head - 6Head - 4Head Weld configuration in one cycle.

Auto-Indexing- Stepper motor will move the job for the next row to be welded and it will keep on repeating till all the rows are welded, then the job will come out and can be unloaded

With Simultaneous Heads Welding in the 6-Head Confuguration each Projection/Spot Welder Head functions as a 40KVA Single Head Welder.

Operation:The operator loads the assembly on the welding machine and positions the job for the first set of spots on flange. He then initiates the welding process via foot switch. The weld heads descend to weld and retract after welding. The machine then indexes the job forward to align with the next set of spots to be made. This sequence is repeated till all the spots are made.

Construction : The main frame of the machine is “D” frame type and is of heavy, rigidly reinforced welded steel construction. The welding heads are on the upper arm. The lower arm provides the reaction force required and the bottom shunt or electrode. The machine frame combines a compact streamlined appearance with maximum resistance to mechanical deflection. The transformers are housed inside the machine frame. The control is either mounted on the machine frame

Adjustment of Electrode Force : Heavy–duty pneumatic cylinders actuate the electrodes. The cylinders are operated through solenoid valves by the weld control. Compressed air acting through the pneumatic cylinders provides the electrode force. Machine is provided with air filters, regulators with gauge, lubricator etc, together with internal air connections. The electrode force is adjustable via the air pressure regulator and gives a constant force from 1-5 Kg Cm!by Pneumatic Cylinder, adjusted by Regulating Valve.

• Current Control: By means of 3/6 tap change links between 50% and 100% also fine setting through controller
• Weld Initiation: By means of Foot Switch which initiates the weld only after preset pressure is built up.
• Electronic Control: (A) Thyristorised synchronous electronic sequence timer consisting of: Squeeze, weld, forge, off and heat control unit range 1-99 c/s (B) Solid State - three timers provided for squeeze, weld and forge timings - short range 5 - 50 cycles - long range 1 - 10 seconds (50 to 500 cycles)
